These are memories from moments when I find the light; taking in the simple beauty and peace that comes with being outdoors or enjoying genuine smiles and belly laughs that inevitably happens in our portrait sessions. I love experimenting with different points of view, and always up to attempt just about anything.

Landscapes. wildlife, travel and meeting new people are the most exciting part of being a photographer. My job is to make you feel celebrated, beautiful and create images that memorialize those events that make life so special.

WHAT MY CLIENT'S HAVE TO SAY

We had a rough idea for a photo shoot so we sought out ‘’Captured It” to bring the idea to life and what happened after that was absolute magic. We spoke briefly with Diane to convey our vision and it was like lighting a fuse to the best fireworks display you have ever seen. The “ rough idea “ we had just went to the moon and back and we got to go for the ride with it. Simply incredible !

I can’t say enough about what a pleasure it was to work with Diane. First, she accommodated a difficult schedule on a holiday weekend in order to capture a large family grouping as well as 8 “couples” shots. Diane has a warm and relaxing manner which coaxed even the grumpiest of my relatives into full cooperation — even people who have made a career out of avoiding being photographed. The results were better than I ever could have imagined. The photos look natural; and then her after-the-shoot edits were incredible, cleaning up the stray hair (it was windy), the gap between sock and pants leg, an inadvertent stain on a shirt, etc etc. The woman is a magician, and I highly recommend her.

I was connected to Diane through a professional photography organization in Santa Rosa, Ca. My family and I had a trip planned to Safari West in a Santa Rosa, and since it was a rare opportunity when all of our kids and grandkids would be together, we thought that it would be a great opportunity to capture some family photos outdoors. Diane visited the site ahead of our visit and arranged an outdoor location at Safari West where we could shoot our family photos. She worked with our large group to capture some great memories in pictures for us.
